Salon Policies

We are dedicated to our clients and their needs, however last-minute cancellations and no-shows to appointments greatly affect our business.

We understand that circumstances arise that do not allow you to keep your appointment, but please remember to be courteous to us as we are a small business and our other clients are often on a waiting list, by calling the respective salon no later than 24 hours prior to your appointment to cancel if you cannot make it, this enables us to make sure other clients don't miss out on potential appointments.

Attempts to cancel your appointment through any of our social media platforms is not an acceptable means of cancellation.

The following policies apply:

Cancellations:
‍You must call no later than 24 hours prior to your appointment by calling the salon that your appointment is booked with. A friendly reminder text is sent out 48 hours prior to your booking to help you avoid any cancellations fees, however please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid any late arrivals, missed appointments or no-show fees. Cancelling or rescheduling less than 24 hours before your appointment will incur either a50% charge of your total booking cost or loss of a previously paid deposit. With enough notice we will endeavour to fill your appointment prior to adding the charge to your account where applicable. Any decision to waive any fees will be made at managements absolute discretion.

No Shows:
‍If there are 2 or more no-shows to any appointment, we will then require a 50% deposit to be paid over the phone prior to booking any future appointments. If 3 or more no-shows occur your 50% deposit will be forfeited via PayPal directly back to your account. No refunds will be made for cancelling 24 hours prior to your booking.

Deposits:
‍Makeup and Lash Lift appointments require a 50% deposit to be paid over the phone or when booking online, if you require to reschedule or cancel your appointment you must contact the salon and the 24 hour cancellation policy will apply. Facial Treatments and Lash Extension appointments require a $50 deposit to be paid over the phone, or when booking online, if you require to reschedule or cancel your appointment you must contact the salon and the 24 hour cancellation policy will apply.

Online bookings:
‍If you need to cancel an appointment prior to the 24 hour cancellation policy cut off period, you must call the salon location your booking is made and we will process your refund

Gift Vouchers:
This voucher is valid until the expiry date specified and cannot be redeemed or replaced after this date.
Backstage Salon is not responsible for lost or stolen vouchers and is not responsible for replacing a voucher that have been lost or stolen.
Gift Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Gift Vouchers are not valid with any other offer or special at Backstage Salon.
